The need
When a Child Loses Everything, They Still Need Someone
Every child needs someone in their corner. Someone to encourage them, protect them and help them believe that tomorrow can be better than today. When that support disappears, the impact reaches far beyond a single moment of loss.
For orphaned children, life does not stop after loss. Food is still needed. Shelter is still required. School fees still need to be paid and the emotional wounds left behind still need time, support and care to heal.
This is why orphan support can never be reduced to one delivery or one moment of assistance. It requires consistency and commitment. Caring for another person is an Amanah. The Prophet SAW said “I and the one who cares for an orphan will be together like this in Jannah” and he held his two fingers together. Caring for an orphan is so important, that the one who cares for an orphan will have their station elevated in paradise, as promised by our beloved Prophet!
